The University is honoured to organize with the SPB the XVI° International Congress of Biochemistry. The scientific event will be held in  at Ponta Delgada (Portugal) this year.
The aim of this joint scientific event is threefold: the 1st is to assess, share and review all information about the recent technological advances in the Biochemistry field and the Molecular Biology related to health, biotechnologies, environment and food biochemistry.

The 2nd objective is to offer opportunity for scientists all around the world to become a community and share all their research findings togheter, exploring the possibilities of mutual cooperation. The 3rd objective is to give support to the young researchers so that they can participate and exchange their knowledge in this scientific event.
